I am lucky enough to be in an industry that I not only love, but I’m incredibly passionate for. Because of which, I've been able to meet some great individuals and also have some fantastic conversations on a whole slew of topics. Web 2.0, tech trends and the digital political realm have been the source of many blog posts on this site and the corporate blog; because of which, I have been interviewed on a slew of topics.
Here is just a few of the interviews/articles I've appeared in:
I absolutely love start-ups and the entrepreneurial spirit.
Over the past few years, I've been involved with some very cool projects, including www.albertatweets.ca, yycapps.com, the yycphotobook.com project, www.invici.ca, seenster.net, and ourweddingpages.ca. I've also put my money where my mouth is and invested money in an iPhone app development fund.
Some projects, like ourweddingpages.ca and seenster.net, never really got off the ground. While others like the yycapps.com and yycphotobook.com project were huge successes. Either way, I've worked on and seen my fair share of entrepeneural projects and ideas come and go. I have a good understanding of what works and what doesn't work.
I love being involved with community development and helping good ideas get off the ground. So if you're looking for someone to dole out start-up advice or get on board as a silent partner (or even an active partner, willing to leverage his connections and design skills) do definitely get in contact with me. I'd love to have a chat.
