Random Thoughts For A Coffee Spitting Commercial Friday April 23, 2010

I’m probably one of the few people in the world who missed this commercial, but it comes directly from Calgary’s own FuddyTv… It’s for True Credit and it’s priceless.

To be honest, the first time I watched it It caught me so of guard I spit coffee out on my desk. Freaking well done guys.

First: This is too good not to post, but it’s a set of unreal set of Zombie-fied Stationary

Second – I’m sorry, but this whole Steve Jobs thinks that the Android is for Porn makes me laugh.

First off, I think it’s a good stance by Apple, even if it kind of oddly goes against one of the key driving forces of the internet. Keeping porn out of the iPhone store gives it so much more trust and credibility. But there’s just something funny about how everyone is publicly supportive of the move, but I have to wonder what the reaction would be if Microsoft said the same thing? Remember what happened to Nintendo when they decided against gore and extreme violence in their video games.

Third – Have you noticed something different about c.t.overdrive (and armadillostudios.ca)?

Probably not, but try to and hover over one of the Twitter names that appear in my posts. If you do, you’ll notice that I’ve integrated @follow into all of these sites.

How is this possible? Thanks goes to Mr. Nonimage himself, Andy, for his amazing tutorial.

Fourth@poploser has launched an interesting new project called lofi/hifi, in which he will be donating all 3,000 records in his vinyl collection to be turned into custom furniture. I only own 40 vinyl records and I know I’d be in tears if I knew they were set to be destroyed. So kudos to him for that.

FifthThese are the companies in your neighbourhood

This isn’t really a tech company, but this is awesome new for Knife-nerds. (I’m kinda of a closet knife nerd), But Calgary’s Knifewear are now selling their own brand of Calgary designed/Japanese built cooking knives (via. @myownbiggestfan).

This is awesome, awesome news.

Sixth – This will probably induce seizures… But it’s .gifs of Popular Rapstars the Tumblr Blog (via. @davidaustin).

Seventh – If you remember my post from last week about the Three Wolf T-Shirt, this will make you laugh.

Anatomy of a T-shirt - Threadless, Best T-shirts Ever

Eighth – By the way, if you’re curious about how the Formspring.me experiment has been going, lets just say it’s been a pretty cool success. So please, take a gander and fire-off any business (or apparently flames) questions you may have.

Ninth – I think ever every metro hetrosexual male in the world can get behind this campaign.

It’s interesting to note that Ryan from FUDDYTV also works at ConocoPhillips. I see him in the elevator sometimes.
