The District Road Trip in Tweets Monday March 29, 2010

On the 19th of March, I kicked off a massive 6 day road trip across this great continent with my Father In-Law and all our earthly possessions. Normally I would have blogged about the journey, but in this new age of Twitter and Facebook I thought I’d save you all that rambling babble.

So here is the entire road trip in Tweets (and one Facebook update status).

I’ll have more posts with some of the Polaroids I captured, but until I unpack the scanner this will have to do.

Good Morning, Billings Montana

Rapid City Foursquare Usage

Rapid City, South Dakota you look fabulous this morning.

(I’d like to point out that it is at this point, that I started treating each city like sleazy lounge singer. Don’t ask me why I did this. I blame it on Travel Madness)

Welcome To Sexy La Crosse

An Iron Ass Day

Wisconsin is For Beards

Wheeling West Virginia, You Saucy Minx

It is at this point that I’d like people to acknowledge where the hell, Wheeling West Virginia is, to understand the WTF nature of ending up in Wheeling, West Virginia look at this Google Map.

And that kids is 5 days in a U-Haul in Tweets. Sure there were other events, like off roading a 14ft U-Haul on our way to Mount Rushmore, running over the hollowed-ground of Notre Dame University, Tim Horton’s in Ohio, The $20 toll of entering Chicago and other tidbits, that I’ll talk about later.

I saw all those tweets when you sent them originally, but it was cool seeing them strung together like that. Nice job!
