Japandroids Tuesday June 16, 2009

So a shout out has to go to Kurt of Stalelife fame for introducing me to a great little two piece bass and drum team called – Japandroid. (there’s a half Japanese joke in there, but I’m not going to make it)

Japandroid is a two-piece band out of Vancouver that is sandwiched somewhere in the music spectrum between indie legends Despitado and Death From Above 1979. I’ve attached a couple clips of the band that I think you’ll all enjoy. The first is a lo-fi version of You Hearts Spark Fire and the second is a video segment from CBC Radio 3.
