... And Then I Met Photography Sunday April 12, 2009

Alright, so here’s a beautiful little video I stumbled upon about Digital Photography and Digital Editing from Jared Wells entitled And Then I Met Photography.

Typically, I probably wouldn’t post a video similar to this, but watching it did get me thinking. With all the negative vibes being sent at the Information Age and our new obsession with our digital lives, I have to say that one of the coolest by-products of it all is the accessibility of Digital photography.

Back in the day, (like I’m some old geezer now) Photography was one of those expensive past times that only a few people pursued. But now with the advent of digital film it seems like everyone’s hobby is photography. Frankly, I think it’s pretty cool. Sure the price of a quality SLR hasn’t changed much, but the film has and that right there has made it affordable to the masses.

And because of that we’ve got a wide spectrum of people pushing the boundaries and creating some brilliant art … like Jared here.
