The Imaginary Virgin Festival Tuesday April 8, 2008

So, the imaginary Virgin Festival finally released it’s Calgary line-up this morning.

To make things easier, here’s my twitter synopsis.

A reunited STP, Face To Face, Corb Lund and the Constantines = Awesome.
A Flaming Lips Cowboy spectacle at Fort Calgary would be unconscious
The Tragically hip = No dice.
$125 for a weekend pass means bring on Sled Island Fest.

Sorry Branson! With all the hype, hoopla and line-ups at previous Vfest shows, this was a bit of a let down. The Tragically Hip, Three
Days Grace, and Mathew Good are not Vfest headlining material.
