Occult and Folklore Wednesday January 24, 2007

I received an email from a friend yesterday stating that they were no longer allowed to view ctoverdrive. It appears this site has been filtered by a web security company. What possible category could the ctoverdrive be banned under?

Well apparently this site falls under the category of Non-Traditional Religions and Occult and Folklore.

The moment I figure out what that means and/or how I fall into that category, I’m putting it as a slogan on a Rocket T-shirt; some bright red ringer t-shirt that’s one size too small. Either that or I’m going to have Occult and Folklore tattooed across my forearms. Ha!

In other news I have finally completed (most of the) work on the University of Calgary Polis Club’s new WordPress powered site.

The New PolisClub Website

This bad boy is version 3.0 of the site. It’s finally at a state where I can be proud of it. It’s utilizes the framework for N.Design’s beautiful GlossyBlue Theme and numerous hours of hacks and modifications. There’s still a lot of tweaking and nit picking to be done over the next couple of weeks. But for now I can notch one project of the six I’ve got going on. All I need them to do is to put up some content.
